LAMP POST SHADOW -

Some times I trace shadows and then mark the time that the shadow was there. I always just thought it would be cool to walk by and see something like that… so I went ahead and did it!

New Nissan commercial is out!

I flew to Utah for a week and skied Snowbird everyday for this shoot, it was like going on vacation and getting paid. It was epic.

This is typical commercial work, do an entire weeks worth of “work” and end up the guy at the end that falls down on the right side of the corner. For my friends and family that recognize my voice, That’s me talking the whole time.

No one reads anymore because pictures are amazing, so I will make this short.

This is what I did here-

Step 1- Take photo of unsuspecting person sleeping on the plane*

Step 2- I wrote the name of my website on a piece of paper

Step 3- I placed this paper in his bag while he was asleep.

* Dear guy who was sleeping on the plane, if you went far enough down the internet rabbit hole and found yourself at YearOfWeird, welcome. I hope your life has been forever changed. I’m sure sleeping on planes will never be the same.

YearOfWeird got in bed with commercial advertising. And its awesome!

Sometimes I watch commercials and think “jeez that really was a waste of 30 seconds, what a bummer that someone wasted that time instead of using it to entertain.”

Well guess what… WE FIXED THAT PROBLEM!!!!

Thanks to Stephan Malik for directing like a champ! Matty, Sam, Nick, & Mike thank you for helping make this the most entertaining 30 seconds I might have ever seen.
